huh?
Yeah, I dunno either. This is just supposed to be my online journal of sorts, where I can post things that I make or that interest me or whatever.
My name is Jacob. Right now I’m studying particle physics at the University of Oxford, although I live near Geneva and work on the ATLAS experiment at the Large Hadron Collider at CERN.
Before that, I was studying math and physics at UC Berkeley, and then worked on a telescope called “Polarbear,” designed to measure polarization of the cosmic microwave background radiation.
When I’m done hearing about Higgs bosons or tau leptons for the day, I occasionally do some projects on the side. A few of them are small little plugins or just random bits of code to accomplish a certain task. I post most of them here for people to use.
My friend and I also work on punchlisting software called SpeedPunch, which allows contractors to take iPads and iPhones onto construction sites and manage project issues. Check it out: www.speedpunch.com.
If you have any questions about something I post, email me: jacob@xenoscope.com
I am usually pretty busy though, so please don’t cry if I don’t get back to you immediately.
